While delivering a motivational speech at an event in the provincial capital on Saturday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan urged the participants of a seminar to realise their potential in order to achieve personal goals and for the betterment of the country. Khan was speaking at seminar "Digital Youth" at a local hotel that was also attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak among others. He said the field of information technology is "our future."

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Pervez Khattak, Minister for IT and Health, Shahram Khan Tarakai, ministers, MPAs and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. The Digital Youth Summit (DYS) 2017, a joint initiative of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) and the World Bank which was began at a local hotel in Peshawar. The seminar will last for the coming three days and expected to be participated by more than 4,000 people.

It may be recalled that DYS is being held annually by KPTIB since 2014. DYS is a Tech conference and Startup Expo that takes place in Peshawar and attended by IT experts from across the globe, representatives of International IT companies, student of IT, and academia and government high ups in large number. The PTI chief also spoke of the development taking place in the world. He was confident that the way the world was making progress time will soon come when Chinese people will learned the Urdu language.

He was of the view that longing for luxuries such as cars and other comforts of life is not a goal one should be seeking to achieve. He urged the participants to work for the well-being of others. Earlier, the Chief Minister Pervez Khattak spoke out his mind on the bright future of the province in the backdrop of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
